The board of Sinotel Technologies has warned that the group is expected to report a net loss for both the third quarter and year to date.

This was mainly attributable to:

* the decrease in contribution from outdoor wireless coverage solutions and emergency mobile communications system;

* potential impairment of plant and equipment; and

* potential allowance for doubtful trade receivables.

Further details of the group's performance will be disclosed when the financial results are announced on Nov 14.
