Singapore shares dipped 0.4 per cent by midday on Monday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index dropping 12.03 points to 3,224.07 around 12 noon.
A total of 819.3 million shares valued at $388.1 million were done in morning trading.
Losers led gainers 216 to 110, with 474 counters unchanged.
Thai Beverage was among those who lost ground, dipping one cent to 53.5 cents, while the gainers included Singapore Press Holdings, up two cents to $4.37.
