Singapore shares end marginally higher on thin volume

The local bourse began the week on a lacklustre note with the benchmark Straits Times Index closing marginally higher by 2.61 points, or 0.08 per cent, to 3,207.85.

Some 3.02 billion shares worth $827 million were traded.

Losers outpaced gainers 314 to 105 while 380 counters were unchanged.
