Singapore shares down 0.18% in morning trading

Singapore shares dipped 0.18 per cent by midday on Friday, with the Straits Times Index shedding 5.67 points to 3,212.53 by 12.30pm.

A total of 1.3 billion shares valued at $574.2 million were done in morning trading.

Losers led gainers 141 to 158, while 500 counters were flat.

Among the losers was Keppel Corp, down 19 cents to $10.71, while CapitaMall Trust was among those who gained ground, rising two cents to $2.02.
