Share prices on the Singapore bourse rose on Tuesday with the benchmark Straits Times Index ending the day higher by 19.41 points or 0.6 per cent, to 3,253.76.

However, losers led gainers 211 to 201 while 392 counters were unchanged.

Some 2.18 billion shares worth $1.33 billion changed hands.
