SGX derivatives market opening delayed by technical issues

The derivatives market of the Singapore Exchange (SGX) opened for trading later than usual on Tuesday, due to technical issues.

At about 8.30am on Tuesday, the SGX said in a statement that its derivatives market was "experiencing technical issues and its opening has been delayed".

"We have identified the cause of the problem and are addressing it," the bourse added.

Just short of 11am, SGX issued another statement saying that the issue had been resolved and that the market had opened for trading at 10.45am.

"We apologise for any inconvenience caused by the earlier technical issue," SGX said.
