The regional adaptation center consists of assembly and testing lines for circuit breakers as well as customisation of products such as MasterPact, Easy Pact and Compact. To create these circuit breakers, 1500 individual components are produced initially, and individual components are adapted and put together based on a customer's desired configuration. There are over 6000 configurations possible.
Schneider Electric, a global leader in digital energy management and automation launched the $110 million logistics distribution centre known as Hub Asia on Nov 14, 2022. Dr. Beh Swan Gin, Chairman of Singapore’s Economic Development Board (EDB), and Jean-Pascal Tricoire, Chairman and CEO of Schneider Electric were present to inaugurate the new smart and sustainable logistics facility which will serve as an anchor point in the development of the Tuas South industrial area. This celebration marks an important milestone for Schneider Electric in the lead-up to its 50-year anniversary in Singapore in 2023.

SINGAPORE – French energy management and automation company Schneider Electric opened a multimillion-dollar logistics hub on Monday, and will invest $110 million in the facility over the next 10 years.

Located at Tuas South near the Tuas Mega Port, the 21,000 sq m hub is about 30 per cent bigger than the company’s previous site in Penjuru that was vacated about two weeks ago.
