Rotary bags $60m worth of contracts between April and June

Oil and gas firm Rotary Engineering said on Tuesday that it had secured $60 million worth of projects between April and June.

The latest wins bring the total value of contracts won by Rotary to more than $400 million.

Rotary said that the latest contracts were from Singapore-based customers in the chemical, oil and storage industries.

The largest contract worth nearly $30 million was awarded by an international specialty chemicals company to provide electrical and instrumentation (E&I) works for an entire plant in Jurong Island, said the firm.

"We are on track for steady growth and will continue to bid for more contracts in the markets where we operate including Singapore, the Middle East and Asia and build up our strong order book," said Rotary's chairman and managing director, Mr Chia Kim Piow.
