SINGAPORE - The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) has announced that Mr Ravi Menon has been re-appointed as its managing director and as a member of the MAS Board of Directors.

The reappointed, to take effect from June 1, 2017, will be for a further term of two years, MAS said in a press release on Wednesday.

Deputy Prime Minister Tharman Shanmugaratnam is the Chairman of MAS board and Minister of Trade and Industry (Trade) Mr Lim Hng Kiang is its deputy chairman.

The board also includes Minsiter of Finance Mr Heng Swee Keat, Minister for Education (Higher Education and Skills) Mr Ong Ye Kung and others.
