SINGAPORE - Two companies that were involved in the construction of an illegal floor at The Alexcier building in Alexandra Road have been given stern warnings.

In a joint reply to The Straits Times’ queries, the Building and Construction Authority (BCA) and Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) said the warnings were issued to the companies “in lieu of prosecution”, following investigations and consultation with the Attorney-General’s Chambers.
