SINGAPORE -More than 80 per cent of the units at The Wisteria that have been launched have been sold.
Buyers have bought up 116 of the 138 residential units offered for sale by developer Northern Resi, located at the junction of Yishun Ring Road and Yishun Avenue 4.
Northern Resi soft-launched the project for preview two weekends ago. On its official launch on Saturday, 108 of the 216 units were released into the market at an average price ranging from $1,030 to $1,050psf.
The developer subsequently released another 30 units due to overwhelming demand for the one- and two-bedroom units, and they were quickly taken up.
In total, 116 units were sold.
The Wisteria is part of a mixed-use 99-year leasehold development comprising three nine-storey towers of 216 residential units built on top of a two-storey shopping centre, known as the Wisteria Mall.
The residential towers, which have a mix of units ranging in size from 441 sq ft one-bedders to 1,173 sq ft four-bedders, are directly linked to the Wisteria Mall at the basement and first floor of the development.
Mr Michael Leong, the chief executive of Keppel Land Retail Management, the project and marketing manager for the development, said: "Buyers are drawn to this project because of its affordability and its convenience of being above a lifestyle mall."
The development is expected to be ready for occupation by end-2018.
