The Straits Times understands that Grand Park Orchard hotel in Orchard Road and alleged unpaid rent are involved in an issue behind an application by New Park Property to wind up Park Hotel Management, which until recently owned the Singapore-based Park Hotel Group hospitality company.

A winding-up application has been filed against Park Hotel Management, which until recently owned the Singapore-based Park Hotel Group, a hospitality company with nearly 30 hotels and resorts across Asia.
The Straits Times understands that the issue behind the application, which was advertised in the paper on June 16, involves alleged unpaid rent and Grand Park Orchard hotel in Orchard Road, although the specifics are unclear.
