The Ministry of Law said last month that 15 per cent of golf course land in Singapore will make way for other developments by 2030.

The 220ha of land, equivalent to one-third the size of Ang Mo Kio Town, will come from Keppel Club, Orchid Country Club and the Marina Bay Golf Course.

Currently, golf courses occupy about 1,500 ha or 2 per cent of Singapore's total land area.
