Personnel movements at China Environment

China Environment, a provider of waste gas treatment solutions in China, has appointed a new chief executive officer, it said on Monday.

Mr Wu Jida, an executive director of the company, will replace Mr Huang Min as CEO with effect from Tuesday. Mr Huang will remain as the company's executive chairman.

The firm will also redesignate Mr Andrew Bek from non-executive director to executive director with effect from Tuesday. Mr Bek will be responsible for China Environment's corporate strategies and corporate development.

He will also relinquish his role as a member of the audit committee.
