CHEN YEW NAH: Retiring as managing director with effect from June 30. Ms Chen, 54, has been in the post for 18 years. She will be succeeded by Mr Lincoln Teo, 46, who was appointed chief operating officer (COO) on April 1.

As COO, he takes on the same duties as the managing director.

Noble Group

YU XUBO (PATRICK): Appointed as non-executive director with effect from June 24.

Mr Yu, 49, took over from Mr Li Rongrong, 70, who was nominated by Best Investment Corporation and whose term has expired.

Mr Yu has been the president of COFCO Corporation since 2007. He also holds other positions, including as chairman and non-executive director of China Agri-Industries Holdings.

China Essence Group

PETER LAI HOCK-MENG: Resigned as independent director, chairman of the audit committee and member of the nominating and remuneration committees with effect from June 25.

Mr Lai, 59, is pursuing other business interests.
