OSIM International's Q1 net profit jumps 13% to $25.1 million

Massage chair maker OSIM International posted a 13 per cent rise in net profit to $25.1 million year-on-year for the first quarter on Tuesday, which the company said was a record high.

Revenue for the three months to March 31 inched up 0.4 per cent to $150.6 million year-on-year.

Osim said the rise in revenue was driven by the launch of new products.

Earnings per share stood at 3.47 cents for the quarter, up from 3.02 cents the preceding year.

The board proposed an interim dividend of one cent per share.
