OKP subsidiary sues sub-contractor for $5.1 million in damages over contract breach

OKP Holdings' wholly owned subsidiary, Eng Lam Contractors Co, has sued a sub-contractor over work done in three projects.

On Aug 23, it took out a writ of summons in the High Court against Mr Koh Lai Wah, the owner of a sole proprietorship known as Hong Hua Engineering and Mr Wong Ah Kau, its former owner.

Hong Hua Engineering had been engaged by the Eng Lam as a sub-contractor in three projects.

It is seeking to recover damages amounting to $5.1 million against the defendants for breach of and repudiation of contract.
