OKP Holdings' unit wins PUB contract to improve Stamford Canal

A UNIT of infrastructure and civil engineering company OKP Holdings has been awarded a $6.7 million contract by national water agency PUB to carry out improvement works to Stamford Canal from Napier Road to Marina Reservoir.

Or Kim Peow Contractors is expected to complete the work by Oct 31 next year.

With the inclusion of this contract, OKP's gross order book has swelled to $415.2 million.

Group managing director Or Toh Wat said in a statement that "OKP has extensive experience in projects of this nature and it is an affirmation of our expertise, proficiency as well as our ability to maintain cost-efficiency that we continue to secure such contracts over the years".
