Morning business news round-up for May 30, 2014

1. Singapore bank lending almost flat in April. Banks here lent a total of $591.1 billion to consumers and businesses, a 0.6 per cent rise over March.

2. Frasers Centrepoint Trust raises $161.5 million in unit placement. It placed out 88 million new units at $1.835 apiece, its manager Frasers Centrepoint Asset Management said on Friday.

3. Pacific Andes unit to sell stake in salmon producer for $112.8 million. Quality Food, an indirect subsidiary of Pacific Andes Resources, will book a A$36.9 million gain from the sale of the Tassal Group shareholding.
