1. GIC and partner buy US educational technologies provider. The sovereign wealth fund and Insight Venture Partners will pay US$752 million (S$944 million) for California-headquartered iParadigms.

2. Singapore's YuuZoo eyes listing via reverse takeover of W Corp. YuuZoo, an e-commerce firm run by the former Asia head of Finnish technology company Nokia, plans to go public through the $490.9 million reverse takeover.

3. Straits Trading sells mining firms, units in Far East Hospitality Trust. It received $42.7 million from the sale of the stake in Far East Hospitality Trust and intends to use these proceeds for other investments.
