Deputy Prime Minister Tharman Shanmugaratnam will be in Moscow, Russia on a two-day visit starting July 19.

Mr Tharman, who is also Minister for Finance, will attend the G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors' meeting, as well as the Joint G20 Finance and Labour Ministers meeting.

He will be joined by Acting Minister for Manpower and Senior Minister of State for National Development Tan Chuan-Jin, who is also attending the G20 Labour and Employment Ministers meeting.

The meetings will focus on recent developments in the global economy and actions to enhance and sustain employment and economic growth.

Mr Tharman and Mr Tan will be accompanied by officials from the Monetary Authority of Singapore, the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Manpower.
