Dr Michael Hasenstab, who has a PhD in economics, oversees global, unconstrained investment strategies and manages a number of funds, including the Templeton Global Total Return Fund.

The fund is positioned for rising interest rates while maintaining a high level of income. It invests principally in fixed and/or floating rate debt securities and debt obligations issued by government and government-related issuers or corporate entities worldwide.
