An executive condominium site at Westwood Avenue in Jurong West was put up for sale by tender on Thursday.

The 186,052 sq ft site is located near amenities such as Gek Poh Shopping Centre, Pioneer Mall, Jurong West Stadium and Jurong West Public Library.

It is estimated to yield 485 homes and is on a 99-year lease.

The plot was released for sale by the Housing Development Board as part of the Government Land Sales programme for the second half of this year. It is on the confirmed list, which means it is put on the market at a pre-determined date without any developer having to make an initial offer for the site.

The tender for the Westwood Avenue site closes on Jan 7 next year.

Meanwhile, the Urban Redevelopment Authority also put a 99-year leasehold residential site at Lorong Lew Lian in Serangoon on the reserve list on Thursday.

The 150,763 sq ft site can yield 495 homes. It will be put up for public tender when a developer has tabled an acceptable minimum bid for the land.
