SINGAPORE - A new industrial facility targeted at small and medium sized enterprises involved in heavy manufacturing has been launched.
Industrial landlord JTC said the nine-storey facility, located in Tampines North, will be ready in 2016.
It will have technical specifications such as higher ceilings, floors able to withstand heavier loads, and wide corridors among other features.
These features mean that activities typically carried out only on land can be done on multiple floors.
The development is also designed to cater to emerging industries like additive manufacturing and robotics.
The facility was conceptualised in response to feedback from companies about a lack of suitable spaces in the industrial market, JTC said.
