SMEs joining hands to take SG halal food to China

Last March, a group of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the halal food and beverage sector teamed up for an exhibition in Chengdu, to gather information on the market.

Led by the SME Centre@Singapore Malay Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SMCCI), the group was there to explore the halal market in China and see if Singapore's halal food products could be marketed there.
