Jaya Holdings signs 2-year deal worth $25 million to charter out supply vessel

Jaya Holdings has signed a contract to charter its new build platform supply vessel for a long term operation in the Indian Ocean, off Mozambique.

The two year contract has a value of more than US$20 million (S$25.3 million).

The vessel is now being upgraded with additional equipment required for the charter's work scope prior to delivery from Jaya's own yard in Batam, Indonesia at the end of September.

The work scope includes remotely operated vehicle support, survey work and core sampling in water depths of up to 2,000 metres.

This is the second of Jaya's large platform supply vessels. The first was upgraded and delivered to a client at the end of July. It is operating on fracking and coil tubing projects in South East Asia under a term contract.
