Clients often ask me if the Wall Street bull run will soon die of old age or whether the sold-down China market is an opportunity to buy.

Clearly, after an upbeat three months ended Sept 30 - in which the S&P 500 Index climbed 7.2 per cent - jitters remain. Indeed, global financial markets have entered the final stretch of this year against the proverbial "wall of worries".
