Why borrowing makes sense as a financial strategy

The recent soft patch in global economic growth has not been all bad news.

Central banks around the world have signalled their intention to keep interest rates lower for longer. And the futures markets have even gone as far as to price in a 50 per cent chance of an interest rate cut by the United States Federal Reserve this year.
