With 26 years of industry experience, Mr James Blair joined Capital Group in January this year and is based here. Capital Group manages more than US$1.8 trillion (S$2.5 trillion) in long-term assets for investors around the world. The firm manages over US$320 billion in its fixed income strategies globally.

The top five emerging market exposures are in bonds issued by the governments of Mexico, Turkey, Brazil, Indonesia and Russia. In terms of industry and issuer exposures within the firm's US high-yield holdings, the larger holdings are focused within mining and oil & gas pipelines/services, communications and healthcare.
