Mr Paul Danes is the co-manager of Martin Currie's Asia portfolios, including the Martin Currie Asia-Pacific and Asia long-term unconstrained strategies. He joined Martin Currie in 2007, initially working with the Japan team before joining the Asia team in 2011.

In 2012, Mr Danes moved to Singapore as chief executive of the Asian subsidiary Martin Currie Asia, where, in addition to his portfolio-management duties, he conducts local research for Asian markets. He has a degree in economics from the University of Cambridge.
