Andreas Fruschki, the lead portfolio manager and director of equity research Europe with Allianz Global Investors, explains the thematic investing approach and discusses his outlook on markets in the latest of our series featuring fund managers and market experts.

Mr Andreas Fruschki joined Allianz Global Investors (AllianzGI) in 2005. He manages the AllianzGI Global Water fund strategy and the Allianz Thematica fund, responsible for stock picking, thematic research and portfolio construction.

He has a law degree from Humboldt University of Berlin and passed the judicial bar exam in Germany in 2004.
