SINGAPORE - It was during a career break and a stint on an organic cork oak farm in Spain that former teacher Darren Tan decided agriculture was where he could channel his passion for sustainability.
That two-month trip in 2015 sparked a realisation that agriculture and food are an integral part of every society, and that success does not just mean a conventional high-flying career but can come in different forms, such as in doing good for the planet and climate.
