SINGAPORE - Think of constructing a building and you might envision concrete, glass or other common materials.
But timber - with the warm feeling of comfort and well-being it evokes - is the material of choice for Ms Serena Yap, a veteran with three decades of engineering experience in both buildings and infrastructure work.
