Market decline drags CPFIS-included funds into the red in 2018

Funds included in the Central Provident Fund Investment Scheme (CPFIS) posted losses last year after being pulled down by a sharp decline in global markets towards the year end.

CPFIS-included funds posted a negative return of 7.91 per cent on average for the 12 months to Dec 31. This was the worst showing since around 2011.
