Mr You Weiren, 31, joined iFast in 2015. He provides analyses and research coverage on companies listed on the United States, Singapore and Hong Kong stock markets. An avid investor who believes in bottom-up stock picking, he earned his honours degree in business administration from the National University of Singapore.

A I used to have zero interest in investing. I thought investing was a total waste of time and felt it was plain gambling. That was until I chanced upon Robert Kiyosaki's Rich Dad Poor Dad, which totally changed my perspective and made me realise the importance of financial literacy.
