Mr Freddy Lim, co-founder and chief investment officer at robo-adviser StashAway, discusses his outlook and how he feels people should be investing, in our series featuring fund managers and investment experts.
Mr Freddy Lim set up StashAway with his co-founders after years of gaining investment expertise at banks and asset managers. He was previously managing director and global head of derivatives strategy at Nomura in Singapore.
He gained his background in cross-asset portfolio during a previous role at Millennium Capital Management and at Citi in Singapore, Hong Kong and Tokyo. He started his career in finance and investing as head of interest rate strategy at Morgan Stanley Japan.
