Many people hate to go to the dentist. I can't say I love my dental visits, but I don't loathe them. That is because I have a very experienced dentist who is gentle, good at her work and extremely reassuring.

Six days ago, I had implant surgery. It is a pretty daunting procedure in which the dentist cuts open your gums, drills into your jawbone and screws in a metal post.
