Financial experts from DBS Bank, Manulife Asia and The Sunday Times will offer tips on financial planning at a Sunday Times Invest Internet-based seminar - or webinar - this Wednesday.

The event will cater to a strong appetite for this sort of information.

Surveys show people in Singapore are keen to learn more about financial management, including how they can manage their money better and build their assets and investments.

The theme of the webinar - an online conference - is "Strike a financial balance between living today and planning for tomorrow."

Topics that the experts will touch on include budgeting, wealth accumulation, goal-setting and life-stage needs.

The speakers are Mr Jeremy Soo, managing director and head of DBS consumer banking group, and Mr Jonathan Hekster, regional head of DBS Partnership, Manulife Asia. The webinar will be moderated by Ms Lorna Tan, Invest editor of The Sunday Times.

Mr Hekster will discuss why it is more important than ever for Singaporeans to plan ahead. For those who are wondering how to get started, he will recommend five steps you can take to get going.

The interactive webinar is free and will be held this Wednesday from 1pm to 2pm.
