When Mr Mike Maslowski has trouble sleeping, he cracks open a beer in his Wenonah, New Jersey, living room, watches old movies and does not worry about it.

"I don't have to be anywhere at 8am," said the 61-year-old retiree, who worked for 30 years as an ad salesman for The Philadelphia Inquirer and Daily News.
