Though it sounds simple, Mr Vincent Oo, senior manager at Great Eastern Financial Advisers (Credence), said that taking note of your total expenditure is something people tend to overlook.
"It takes a bit of effort to track your spending, but you need to do that so you know how much you are spending and saving (so that you) are less likely to overspend."
