Indian Institutes of Management to host global conference in April

NEXT month, Singapore will play host to the Indian Institutes of Management's (IIM's) first global conference to discuss new ideas on entrepreneurship and business trends.

IIMs are a network of publicly run management educational institutions spread across India.

The event, called IIMPact 2013: New Frontiers will bring together alumni of the IIMs from Singapore and the rest of the world as well as corporate leaders and government representatives.

The one and a half day programme on April 5 and 6 is being organised by the Pan-IIM Alumni Association and will be held at the Raffles City Convention Centre here. The Singapore Economic Development Board is the event's strategic partner.

The main speaker at the event is Dr Raghuram Rajan, chief economic advisor to the Indian Government.

Prominent corporate captains including DBS Group Holdings chief executive Mr Piyush Gupta, Infosys chairman Mr KV Kamath and MasterCard president and chief executive Mr Ajay Banga will also be participating at the event to discuss a range of topics such as leadership, growth and unconventional paths to success.
