Goodpack chalks up 13.4% rise in profit to $64.9 million

Goodpack's full year net profit soared by 13.4 per cent to US$51.3 million (S$64.9 million).

Revenue for the year ended June 30 rose by 7.7 per cent to US$190.9 million.

The growth was primarily due to increased penetration in existing markets as a result of new customers conversion and increased demand from existing customers in the non-rubber and synthetic rubber sectors, which grew by 18 per cent and 13 per cent respectively.

Earnings per share firmed to 9.55 US cents from 9.1 US cents previously while net asset value per share climbed to 61.79 US cents compared to 56.85 US cents as at the end of the last financial year.

An unchanged dividend payout of five cents a share was recommended.
