FRANKFURT (AFP) - German business confidence rose for the fourth month in a row in February to hit a 10-month high, data showed Friday, as prospects for Europe's top economy continue to brighten.

The Ifo economic institute's closely watched business climate index rose to 107.4 points in February from 104.3 points in January, beating analysts' expectations for a much more modest rise to 104.7 points.
