First phase of Stamford Land's residential project launch in Australia is fully sold

All 379 units offered were snapped up on Macquarie Park Village's first day of sales to the public, marking the successful first phase launch of Stamford Land Corporation's latest residential development in Australia.

With an average price of A$10,000 per square metre achieved, the total sales of A$250 million reached on Nov 2 has set a new record for the Macquarie Park precinct.

Stamford executive director Ow Yew Heng the mixed-use residential development was well-timed to ride on and complement the excellent lifestyle quality, growth and vibrancy of the Macquarie Park precinct.

"We plan to launch the remaining 267 apartments in Stage 2 in due course," he added.

Located on the freehold 22,000 square metre site of Stamford Grand North Ryde Hotel at the corner of Herring and Epping Roads in Macquarie Park, the A$430 million mixed-use Macquarie Park Village will be home to over 1,000 residents when completed.

The project comprises seven individual buildings ranging in height from five to 22 storeys, with over 650 1, 2 and 3-bedroom apartments.

It also incorporates retail shops and commercial offices, including a convenience store, management offices, dry-cleaners, minisupermarket and childcare centre.
