TOKYO (REUTERS) - Japanese Finance Minister Taro Aso said on Tuesday that he would make remarks about China's economy when he attends this week's gathering of the Group of 20 major economies in Ankara.

Mr Aso, speaking to reporters after a cabinet meeting, said it was beneficial for G20 financial leaders to discuss what was going on with the Chinese economy.

China's stock markets have lost nearly 40 per cent of their value since mid-June despite unprecedented government support steps as its economic slowdown rattles investors.
