DBS and POSB customers will now be able to withdraw cash at over 500 7-Eleven stores across the island without having to pay extra fees - as long as they make a purchase at the convenience store.

But there is no minimum purchase amount required, said DBS on Tuesday.

With the new service, customers of the bank who use an ATM, debit or credit card that is linked to a savings account can withdraw up to $80 in cash in multiples of $10.

This excludes 7-Eleven's stores at Changi Airport and Shell stations.

The partnership with 7-Eleven is the latest in a string of collaborations that DBS has formed, including extending banking services at SingPost outlets.

The new service will expand DBS' network of physical touch-points to over 2,000 across the island, the bank said.
