SINGAPORE -Media services firm ZenithOptimedia has announced plans to set up its first regional analytics and technology hub for Asia in Singapore.
The hub will develop solutions for emerging types of data and technology.
These solutions include mobile and contemporary analytics solutions such as social and text analytics, ZenithOptimedia said in a statement. The hub's 45 staff will also address existing technology and data needs.
ZenithOptimedia will hire Singaporeans and permanent residents in the fields of new media, technology and analytics and develop their skills, it said.
Marketing has become increasingly data-centric and the number of channels brands can reach consumers through is increasing, said Mr Kelvin Wong, assistant managing director at the Singapore Economic Development Board.
Owing to this, brands are looking for experts to create innovative solutions for the region, he added.
Mr Gerry Boyle, chairman of ZenithOptimedia Asia Pacific, said, "This initiative recognises the increasing importance of creating Asia-specific data and technology solutions. It is a major step in driving future readiness and growth for ZenithOptimedia".
