SINGAPORE - The pandemic-induced crisis has resulted in seemingly unending upheaval for global aviation because governments are unable to take common-sense approaches to mitigate the risk, according to International Air Transport Association (Iata) director-general Willie Walsh.
While domestic air travel in China, the United States and Russia is taking off, international flights are still languishing, causing massive damage to the travel and tourism industry and misery to millions of would-be travellers and workers.
