25-year-old chalks up $100k in gains after putting in $20k of savings, tuition earnings

Mr Lim, a final-year student at the National University of Singapore, has invested a total of $20,000 in GameStop shares.

The 25-year-old, who did not want his full name to be known, has drawn from his savings and used money he has made by giving tuition lessons to purchase shares of the video game retailer.
