When Singapore snack and confectionery company Ace Synergy International decided to enter India's food retail market, it picked one of its healthier snacks - multigrain chips - for the launch.

Company executives had visited India multiple times and noticed that local consumers were tilting towards healthier food options, a growing trend in the fast-developing market.
